Hatraco, Kineteco’s European distributor, have successfully started an electronically governed 7.4 litre AGCO diesel engine with a Kineteco spring starter. When it comes to electrically governed engines, starting protocol requires a minimum cranking RPM and/or number of revolutions and therefore spring starters might not be the first choice.
